Location Shots.

This area has an open, overgrown feeling from the trees and empty surroundings.

This empty park would be a great place to film, because of the empty slide and empty surroundings. You would think a park like this would be full of life however seeing it empty has connotations of a post apocalyptic world.

This tree looks like it has been left and has become overgrown without any care. Being able to film in an overgrown environment would help emphasise the apocalyptic style of the music video.

This derelict area looks very destroyed and abandoned, an area like this gives the apocalyptic style to fit the music video well.

Digipak Research.

Digipak's are a great way for marketing an album, not only can they made from recyclable material they are also cheaper to make. The artwork can be more creative and they can show more information about the band and/or photos of them. Also some of the parts can have the lyrics to the songs on the album.

Digipacks are becoming more popular due to smaller bands creating a more creative look other than just a CD case, so for the band to get more popularity they sell these digipacks. For a band to put more artwork or photos into their digipacks creates a more interesting and personal album, other than just a CD case.
There are many different designs for digipaks, with the most common 4 panel. However you can get digipaks with 6, 8 and 10 panels.

Throughout my research I have found that the most common genre to use digipaks as their distribution are rock bands. There are many bands that will make special edition albums so use the digipak. As you can see here, Amazon sell digipaks and the most common genre you come across is normally rock.

Questionnaire.

These are questionnaires I created and gave to people to answer. They have given me a better understanding of what people look for in a music video.
